GRUB problem after upgrading to 10.04

         I don't know what GRUB-pc is. It sounds to me like when you 
upgraded to 10.04 it changed your grub1 to the new grub2, and your 10.04 
partition is now ext4 type. Please check and write back. If you do not 
know how to check for these write back :-)
