Just for reference:

Memtest was fine.

The culprit seems to be ath5k. While in monitor mode, having booted with
`slab_debug' it seems it's writing to a wrong place in memory, thus apparently
corrupting other memory zones.

Taking care of this issue on LKML, linux-wireless and on
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15861 .
