samba client: default workgroup?

Did you try running `sudo shares-admin` in your terminal?  I believe the 
WG is identical for both the client and the server.  At least that's how 
I understand it.  Perhaps I am wrong.  Let me know I can try a few 
things.  I have samba sharing set up on a computer elsewhere I can check 
out.
