Networking/SSH Problems with 9.10

My settings are identical to those used in all previous versions. Any
idea why the DNS would be affected by *only* 9.10?
I have tried upgrading and fresh installs of 9.10, all of which have the
same problems.
I can try tweaking my settings. I use static settings.
