I guess that I should have qualified my statement by stating that I would
never use a machine that I *use day to day* for testing out a beta (Not,
mind you, that I actually *have the skill set required to do any meaningful
testing in the first place; but if I did have such a skill set, then I
suppose that I would copy everything over to a spare machine and make daily
-- if not hourly -- backups to the original machine's hard drive.)*.
