Printer problems

I`m kinda new to desktop linux and am running into some issues with our corporate printer.

I`m running 9.10 on my desktop and our network printer is sharp AR-C172M connected to printer server, which is a windows 2003 system.
When I try to print, the printer is spitting out a lot paper which includes one line per page with all kinds of fuzzy characters.
The printserver is part of our corporate domain.

How do I solve this so I can print normally?
