Actually, in the FOSS world, people tend to write FLOSS which means Free
Libre Open Source Software. In this case, Free is "as in beer" and Libre
is the French word for free as in "freedom of speech". :) That avoids
the confusion and encompasses everything.

Note that Open Source DOESN'T imply FREE (as in zero cost). Many people
make that mistake. Try getting Red Hat Linux for free. :) It's open
source. If you want the "zero cost" version you have to get Fedora...
not Red Hat. :) Other examples abound.
