Because I tried it a couple of days ago... (a test fresh install - my
working Karmic and personal data are well preserved at different
partitions, no way I'd do a real upgrade on Beta).
At the time I didn't find a reliable repo for an up to date acroread
64/lucid, and frankly, at that time (dawn) didn't even remember I
could have acroread 64 from Karmic repo (Alzeheimer or lack of
coffee?).
Nevertheless, it seems to work the same way 64 used to run on
Karmic... so far (only opened it a couple of times, didn't try to
print yet). I promise I'll get rid of it as soon as I can get a
regular 64 on repo. (Perhaps you could give me an idea of the risks
I'm running?)
