Looking for serial terminal program

Hi,

I am currently using GtkTerm to communicate with my embedded Linux 
project. It works fine, except for the fact that I cannot cut and paste 
anything in or out of it. I am working with gstreamer pipes and cut 'n 
paste would save a huge amount of typing.

Is there a terminal program for Ubuntu that allows cut and paste? If it 
emulated the standard Ubuntu terminal window, that would be perfect.
