Wireless ethernet cards & ubuntu 10.4

I need to get one for my dad's new Ubuntu box since his new home
office is inconveniently far away from the switch and router in his
house, and I don't think he's up for running cat 6 cable up in his
ceiling. Not a USB, but a PCI slot card is the order of business.
So if you have personal knowledge of one that already works with
Ubuntu 10.4 I'd like to know about it before spending any time on
wrestling with his computer. I might be willing to try one that you
know works with Ubuntu 9.10.
