Bad file descriptor problem..

*Another problem has arised, when downloading Opera, then installing it,
it tells me this:
dpkg: unable to read filedescriptor flags for <package status and
progress file descriptor>: Bad file descriptor
I did google around, and found a few things, but instead of messing up
my system, I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of problem
and how did you fix it...
Thanks for anyone who can help me out on this also...
