Error when printing to remote printer

By dynamically configured I guess you mean DHCP ? Most DHCP routers let 
you pin particularly addresses to certain MAC addresses, so even though 
DHCP is still used, they will always get the same address. That is what 
I have done on my home system for a very similar reason, and works very 
well. Could you not do the same for the print server ?
