I always find it interesting to read the discussion on NM vs WICD.
Last night I decided to try WICD since I never have.  The one test I
did was to test the speed of my rsync backup to my server and it took
2 hours to transfer 20 gigs on WICD versus 20 minutes on NM.  Not sure
if there is some special configuration, but I just found it strange.
I use NM because it has never NOT worked for me, and I'm a firm
believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
