In England, 'shop' would be the first word used to describe a place
where things are bought, but I think the first understanding of
'Software Store' would be a place where software is bought. 

The idea of 'storing' software isn't a particularly common one, so I
think there's a need to be more explicit on the naming of such a place.

Also, there are definite (and I'd imagine deliberate) connotations with
the iTunes app store and Android Marketplace. The problem with that,
IMO, is that these are both seen as repositories of pay-for software,
with some gimmicky free stuff in there, too.

I thought "Add/Remove Applications" was a perfectly apt title, since it
described exactly what the application it linked to did.
