OT: The semantics of the terms PC/Mac

In my world, PoC refers to a "Proof of Concept" machine(s) that we use
to analyse how the several hundreds of thousands (whichever the
company I'm working for) is about to drop on a box is going to
perform.
As an aside, it irks me greatly to see people referring to Windows as
"Windoze" or derivations thereof. Why not called it by its real name?
