I never used outlook, but I hear people complain that Evolution mail
(the defualt Ubuntu mail client) is similar to outlook. I know that
Evolution can connect to outlook exchange servers decently...

As for other MUAs, as was said before, theres lots of choices. If you've
got any questions, feel free to ask them here, as I'm sure somebody will
be able to answer them. I'd also suggest checking out the forums at
www.ubuntuforums.org as that is another good resource for help.
