Grub is lost

you could also use the Super Grub Disk (SGD) to fix it. go to
http://www.supergrubdisk.org/, download the CD, and follow the
instructions. It's pretty straight forward, and theres built-in help,
but I think you just go to 'fix boot of linux > pick your partition >
done'. Not positive, but trust me, its just about that easy.
