Richard, there is no /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin
dir in 64 bit dual core ubuntu; at least I don't
have one. However, if you make symlinks, or just copy the libflashplayer.so file to the various plugin dirs the browsers should find and use it. You can also put the libflashplayer.so
in you home dir under ~/.mozilla/plugins, you may have to add the plugins dir, but that should work also. there should be a libflashplayer.so entry in the ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxxx.default
dir in the pluginreg.dat file if your setup is correct at least there is one in mine and flash works for me. The easiest solution is to just add the symlinks to the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
dir and to any other browser plugin dir your have. If I said something wrong here someone
please correct but if you follow my directions it wont hurt anything.
