Read/Decipher files saved in XP os

You should be able to mount the drive under ubuntu and access the
files.  Some googling on how to do this should prove fruitful.  If you
wish to check then you could boot off the Ubuntu CD and try it without
having to install Ubuntu.

It is considered good practice not to top post in this list, and text
emails (not html) are  preferred
