I kept having issues with keeping things sync'ed in ~/.mozilla/plugins
and Ubuntu plugins. So I resolved the issue by making ~/.mozilla/plugins
a symlink to: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. And even though
libflashplayer.so is located in:
/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so, Firefox, SeaMonkey, and
Thunderbird find it just fine using the above method.
Note: I run all three of those from my home directories - they are not
the Ubuntu installed versions. However, I use the same on other systems
with the Ubuntu'ized versions & it works with those as well.
Mine is a 32bit system, so not sure if it will work the same on a 64bit
system.
