I have no relationship to this blog. I got it in my rss feed and was a
bit shocked when someone here pointed out that it was quite old. I
posted because I have had problems, my brother has problems and this
blogger had problems. My brother also got emails from FB saying to
change OS. I think that that is the worst part of all this.
The problems that I have are from my brother and he is having problems
with Texas hold em poker on FB. He can't get the server list that
should be there. This list seems to let you change who you are playing
with. I would tell you more but I can't get it to work on my system
ether using 8.04 KDE with 3.0.1 swiftweasle. I would think this could
be a problem with Flash. My brother is using a stock 9.04 install with
mediubuntu additions to get some drivers, players, etc. I hope this
makes it all clear. Personally, I have problems with FB just not
working, links go inactive etc. This is not consistent and goes away
if I reload the page.
I am ready to drop this because it seems to only be causing strife and
that is not what I wanted. I wanted to get FB working nicely with
Linux. Their email seemed unacceptable to me. Perhaps others don't see
it that way.
