Another thing is that Facebook is a web app delivered by open source tools
(apache, php on the fronend, mysql). In fact, its probably the best example of
a major internet destination built with open source tools. FB is not a
desktop applicaton. It all happens in the browser. If something displays
different in Linux FF vs MS FF, it is most likely a FF bug/anomaly and not a
slight by FB. Not sure all the plugins work that way, but Facebook itself
does, and at least the majority of plugins.
