So, Jay, does your suggestion to use a local client mean that my latest post
(this one, for example) isn't without quotes? I need to hear this from
somebody who uses neither browser-based Gmail nor IMAP Gmail, and I think
that's you. Gmail has a way of cleaning up all my incoming mail and
organising it to my specifications, but unfortunately, out-going mail
doesn't seem to get the same treatment. Gmail is unlike any other
browser-based email provider I've ever used, and I've used many.
I jump back and forth between local and web based mail as the technology
changes. I'm not one to ride out bugs. I run away from them. By the time
bugs appear where I went, they're usually gone where I came from, so I go
back. I don't do much printing of email conversations, but I'm pretty good
at quickly printing exactly what I want, so that doesn't concern me.
Anyway, rest assured that half the time, I'll be taking your advice!
