I do have some active filters her on Evolution, but the only thing they
do is sort my mail from the various mailing lists I'm subscribed to into
seperate (pre-defined) folders for me to read offline...and to keep them
off of the aol mail server...cause the volume of traffic tends to fill
my mailbox rapidly.

I'm not subscribed to any mailing lists about gmane though, and my
filters havent been modified, so I dont see how one of the filters could
have made it...which is about in line with your theory.

On another note, after the folder came back, I was able to delete it
through Evolution, I did so, and it has yet to come back some 14+ hours
later. If it doesn't come back today, then I'm declaring it fixed.
