Hi

I have set the below entries in /etc/security/limits.conf file on
Ubuntu hardy 8.04 server

@tomcat        hard    nofile           32000
@tomcat        soft    nofile           32000
tomcat        hard    nofile           32000
tomcat        soft    nofile           32000

when i login as tomcat user and run ulimit -a,
it still shows open files                      (-n) 1024

Am i missing anything ?
