Combining multiple PDF files into one File.

Have you looked at any of the cli pdf tools?

froller at metis:~$ pdf [tab][tab]
pdf2dsc    pdffonts   pdfinfo    pdftoabw   pdftoppm   pdftotext 
pdf2ps     pdfimages  pdfopt     pdftohtml  pdftops   

froller at metis:~$ whatis pdfimages
pdfimages (1)        - Portable Document Format (PDF) image extractor 
(version 3.00)

Extract the images and then build your own document, say in OO-write, 
and export back to pdf.
