Vista kills Ubuntu wireless

Unfortunately, it is when Vista is switching off the wireless chipset
when shutting down. You have to prevent it to do so by shutting
abruptly. Of course, holding the power button for > 5 seconds does the
trick too. I agree it is usually not a good idea to preserve HDD's
life expectancy.
