After looking at a few of the included files in some add-ons I installed
from the repos, they look like re-packaged versions of the add-ons from
the firefox website.
The only advantage I see to this method, is that the 'official' firefox
addon download location doesnt have 'authentication'...which is why you
have to click the 'I accept' to the "make sure you trust this source
blah blah blah" box every time you install a plugin from there. From the
repos, the source is definitely trusted.
