Depends on how it's formatted. If ubuntu is on a single partition, then no.
Win is like a virus...it will reformat the first hard drive partition (or the entire drive if there's only one partition).
You'll need to use something gparted to reduce the size of the ubuntu partition and then add a new partition at the begining of the drive so win will install to the first partition.
After you install win, you'll have to use a live CD to reinstall GRUB so that ubuntu can be booted.
Best to save your data to another disk, install win first, then use the ubuntu installer to reinstall ubuntu in a second partition. Then you're good to go in the future for updating either OS.
