yeah if you change out a video card, you need to change drivers as well,
if i had to take a guess the only one that may work is vesa for an older
card like that.

try sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg then reboot

or grub recovery mode, then "xfix" and reboot

one of the 2 should work.

if for some reason one of the above fails, edit xorg.conf and plug
"vesa" in for the driver and reboot, thatll definately work, i doubt
youll get anything more than 800x600 though?
