Best FTP client to get

If you send data via ftp(plain ftp) over the Internet you obviously
don't value your data or care to be embarrassed because of someone
grabbing the user and password and uploading crap. How good would it
look for your client to go and visit their website and find something
there in place of what was meant to be there. Just because you have
been doing something for a while and nothing has happened is not a
good excuse. But once again, it is your choice. The same way some
people choose to drive without seatbelts, some die, some don't.

OP - It is not a matter of being paranoia or conspiracy theories or
anything. I understand that some clients (people) are not aware of
this technical things but you mentioning the situation to them will
make you look better. There is not reason why in the year 2009 hosting
providers should be using ftp over sftp etc.
