Help: can't no more boot (solved)

    solved:
    the problem with /proc/modules led me to look at /lib/modules, and I found
    that a kernel upgrade occured last night, but for some reason, the menu.lst
    file was not updated. After correcting it, the boot problem disappeared
    BTW, the usb error came from a pda (under Windows, of course)
