Well, until now there was no Ubuntu release with Grub2. As Karmic is 
still beta software, people using that should be able to help themselves 
to mitigate such a problem. :)

OK guys, just wanted to say thanks for the help and I am now a happy man whom can now load either Ubuntu or Windows.
