Upgrades require step-by-step upgrading through each release.  You'll
need to upgrade first to 6.10, then to7.04, 7.10, then to 8.04.

Upgrading from LTS to LTS will be available for your upgrade /from/ 8.04
but still (I think) won't include upgrades between LTSs.
