Just got the second new kernel, ending in 13 and do not have
any ghosts or other problem. So we can't blame the kernel it
seems.
I now have 11, 12 and 13 kernels I can boot from. This latest
batch of updates did fix a minor problem when booting up. My
Karmic Beta would write some strange words on a black
background until the splash screen came up and then it would
come up normal. This last reboot came up without the minor
problem. So that is fixed.
