Hard to blame you, after skimming through those!

It seems I spoke too soon when I said that there's no problem when using
the Human theme - it's still happening, but not every time. When I get a
core dump and look at the call history, it's variously in a cairo or
murrine library when it dies, so it's not certain that it's a problem
with evolution proper.

When a jpeg file is attached to an email, a thumbnail image is rendered
in the attachment area, and it looks like it's going off in the weeds
trying to draw the thumbnail or the associated progress bar.

Anyway, it looks like I'm only talking to myself submitting comments on
bug 393534. Maybe I should submit a new report, since 393534 concerned a
pdf attachment rather than a jpeg. Hard to believe I'm the only beta
tester experiencing the problem.

Thanks anyway though!

Steve
