Anyway, I need to install Windows XP Pro 64 in place of Ubuntu 9.10 as to work some softwares that won't be installed in a Linux based OS. Is replacing Ubuntu 9.10 with Windows XP Pro 64 possible?

If your 9.10 is in the first partition on your hard drive you
will have no trouble loading windowsXP. Of course you will
loose Grub and all your other Ubuntu systems.
