My workspace switcher cannot change names

Bingo for Chris! With karmic I went to the place Chris showed
us and there I put names in each of 4 workspaces. I finished
and saw nothing so I re-boot and still nothing.
But then I put my mouse pointer over a workspace and there
was the name I gave it! So it does work and I would never have
guessed it would.
