Help with installation (Case now closed.)

Ok guys. I got it Ubuntu is now fully installed and Windows is gone. The desktop is in working order now. I want to thank everyone who so graciously helped me in my hour of need. 

Seeing how this kind of become a contest on who was helping me the most I would like to announce that Andrew Farris is the winner. His post is what got me through the process. 

Thanks again guys, I'm sure this isn't the last that you will hear from me cause I am still new to Linux so wish me luck.

Too bad no executables seem to work. I'd recommend

http://goodbye-microsoft.com/ and be done with it.
