Im going to assume nothing here.

Make sure your computer (windows or Ubuntu) is connected via Ethernet to
your router. Turn of Firefox and type in 192.168.2.1

When the login page comes up, the password is not set so leave it blank.

On the initial page when you log in, this is the Overview screen.

On right right hand side under Features, look at the SSID. Take note of
that as that is what you are looking for in your Windows wireless signal
finder window.

Just above this is LAN Settings. Under DHCP Server it should say
Enabled. It might give a number like (1 client) - which would be you.
If it says more than 1, on the left hand side of the page, third from
the top is DHCP Client List. Click that and see who is using your
internet besides you :D

On the Left hand side click Wireless which will bring up the wireless
settings.

When it loads the wireless channel is set to Auto.
If you want to change the SSID to something you will know like
"JosephsRouter" then you can do it here.

The next setting is Wireless Mode. Make sure it says:
802.11b & 802.11g & 1x1 802.11n

If your wireless computers only have 802.11G then select 802.11g only.

Do NOT setup mac filtering or encryption until you have your computers
working.
