If you want a netbook that comes with Ubuntu pre-installed, and all the 
problems worked out so that it works "right out of the box", might I 
recommend "System76"?  I bought one of their Starling Netbooks.  It has a 
10.1 inch screen,  a keyboard about 95% of full size (it's easier to type 
on than my HP Laptop), and is really cost-comparative to the others I 
looked at.  They sell a full line of computers with just one operating 
system - Ubuntu.  They have their own community on the Ubuntu Forums and  
K-A support system. I found them "by accident" but now can't imagine 
buying a computer from anyone else.

Might I suggest you give them a look?
