Sorry, forgot to add that most folks (myself included & I don't use kde)
prefer k3b instead:
$ sudo apt-get install k3b libk3b6-extracodecs
Note: substitute with libk3b3-extracodecs if you are running jaunty -
the above is for karmic. That lib is necessary to burn mp3's.
It will pull in a lot of kde dependencies:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/k3b
but I think it is worth the extra disc space & considerably better than
Brasero.
