Hello,
I have started to play around with openvpn recently. I set up an OpenVPN
server on my router machine and now I am trying to test it with a laptop
that is running Ubuntu.
So far, if I use sudo to connect to the VPN server, it all works fine.
However, if use network-manager to connect to the VPN server as a normal
user, it fails:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nov 8 21:43:11 red NetworkManager: <info> (wlan0): writing resolv.conf
to /sbin/resolvconf
Nov 8 21:43:11 red NetworkManager: <info> Policy set 'Auto
PoweredByLinux' (wlan0) as default for routing and DNS.
Nov 8 21:43:24 red NetworkManager: <debug> [1257734604.002134]
ensure_killed(): waiting for vpn service pid 6996 to exit
Nov 8 21:43:24 red NetworkManager: <debug> [1257734604.002388]
ensure_killed(): vpn service pid 6996 cleaned up
Nov 8 21:43:51 red wpa_supplicant[1118]: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have not entered my VPN key in nm. It doesn't even ask me for the key!
What am I missing here?
Thanks.
