Hello fellow members of the mailing list,
Recently I had installed Ubuntu 9.10, my complements to the developers for
their various bug fixes. However, I have run into a problem. I simply
wanted to play a DVD movie, as expected I had followed the instruction
listed below:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=766683
The videos of me carrying out those instructions are found below:

It would seem that neither Mplayer, VLC nor Xine can read the DVD in the
drive. My only drive is a PLDS DVD+-RW DH-16A6S SCIS CdRom device.
Quite frankly, I would like to know what to do in order to resolve this
problem. A number of my friends and I have been chronicling my
“adventures” with Linux. A lot has been negative but I still hold
positive opinion for Ubuntu.
