Kubuntu 9.10 wireless network problem

ah I see.... I will go and test tonight, seeing as I dont have a 9.04

If I understand you correctly the following took place:
-Install kubuntu 9.04 (32bit/64bit)
-connect to wireless network
-upgrade to kubuntu 9.10
-unable to connect to wireless network, either manually OR automatically

Is that correct?
