    There is a aimpler and more secure way to manage personnal data: create an other
    partition (lets's say /data), and put in it all non-system stuff you want to keep,
    including home ( /data/home --> /home).
    You have then nothing to backup, as nothing is deleted (have just to restore links
    like /home)
