Alt + Tab

Has anybody else had problems with Alt + Tab key combo not working in
9.04 (gnome + compiz)? According to xev the correct codes are reported
by X, at least I think so:

KeyRelease event, serial 35, synthetic NO, window 0x4e00001,
    root 0xc6, subw 0x0, time 2468080744, (441,664), root:(445,719),
    state 0x18, keycode 23 (keysym 0xff09, Tab), same_screen YES,
    XLookupString gives 1 bytes: (09) " "
    XFilterEvent returns: False

KeyRelease event, serial 35, synthetic NO, window 0x4e00001,
    root 0xc6, subw 0x0, time 2468080747, (441,664), root:(445,719),
    state 0x18, keycode 64 (keysym 0xffe9, Alt_L), same_screen YES,
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XFilterEvent returns: False



And the keyboard shortcuts are set correctly, but Alt + Tab
does nothing. When focus is to a terminal, it acts like the Alt
keycode has been stripped:
