sharing files between ubuntu computers

He can't, because they are not his routers.

I gave a more detailed troubleshooting procedure in my other post. All
of the tests that are spread all over this topic, are summarized in my
post. I wrote it before I read the rest of the thread.

Anyone is free to copy my post and use it to troubleshoot their own
network problems.
