That would probably be best, as PDF-editing tools in Linux are
desperately lacking. Things that you can do to help:
* File bugs on existing Linux applications
* Write to the developers of Windows-based applications that you use
and request Linux versions.

While the second option may have seemed ridiculous just two or three
years ago, today it is entirely viable. It seems that lots of devs are
considering Linux versions, we have to show them that the market share
exists.
