Almost done. Needing to install sound now.

Good evening everyone,

I had made the decision to reinstall Xubuntu from a bare bones CLI 
install (per someone's email early today whose name I can't recall). I 
got mostly everything up and running now except the sound. I don't seem 
to have the volume icon to add to my desktop so I suppose that's not a 
good start either. Is there some group of packages that I need to get 
sound again? Any help in the general direction would be most helpful.
